Trump’s unilateral tariffs risk a Pyrrhic victory that damages global trading rules that broadly served U.S. interests. There may be a better wayhttps://on.wsj.com/2w2NSoQ

Zero tariffs on both sides is best, but I’m on my country’s side if there is going to be an imbalance. Is free trade a religion or should we do what is best for the US? I don’t buy that it’s great if 100 Americans are put out of work so I can buy stuff for 10% less at Wal/Mart.

If tariffs are so bad for the consumer and so destructive to their economy please explain China. If you have more concern for a cheap TV than your neighbor’s job and family then you are right to not care about American jobs or business. That’s a neocon mutation of conservatism.

Here are manufacturing jobs that are coming back. If a country places a 50 percent tariff on us and we have a 10 percent tariff, is that good or bad for our business and workers? What about peace through strength?https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/terence-p-jeffrey/manufacturing-jobs-400000-under-trump-37000-july …

i hear you, but we can't just ignore them in the global economy, and our embargo had zero positive effect on cuba.

A better way? Where were these thoughts the last 15 years as the American worker got screwed? Let Trump get the job done!

The free world should not only kick China out of WTO,but also urge China to pay price for its violation of WTO agreement which China commited itself. The world trade relation has suffered sever turmoil and destruction since China entried WTO.Fair play should be respected.

Please what Trump is doing is so ignorant. Shouldn't you be reporting on the Trump impeachment process? The trade issue is just a distraction.
