        He would have the authority to do a pardon, but that act could still be brought up to legal questions to his motive. If his motive would be to obstruct justice, that would make the act a crime.

        These are immense powers which are supposed to be used in furtherance of unity, decency and morality: not to help a criminal intents .MFT does not seem remorseful. To pardon is to rehabilitate- is to give another chance- not help those who don’t care; not to create national pain.

        There were abuses in the past, pardons not in the interest of the nation or the people. We could have great debates about which were worst. That's not an argument against checking a president who has directly threatened serious abuses to subvert justice. #FederalPardonAmendment
