How long before the army takes over in Venezuela?
-
-
-
The army took over when Chavez won, top officers hold key positions in all the government bureaucracy.
-
There have been several attempted coup d'états in Venezuela: notably in 1992 and 2002, and apparently earlier this year, although only 30 officers were arrested.
-
Yes, the army is currently under the control of Cuban intelligence. Very unlikely they'll revolt, even though they're families standard of living has declined sharply too.
-
Cuban intelligence???
-
As a Venezuelan I can vouch for what he is saying- the Cubans have infiltrated all kinds of important positions within the military infrastructure, to the point that more Venezuelans than you can imagine would be happy for the US to intervene like it did in Panama

There is no plan to revitaliza Venezuela’s economy. There is only a vulgar stealing of zeros in its currency.

It is not revitalization, it’s more of the same with window dressing, pushing the country to further communism and slow genocide.

If he just left, abandoned ship, walked away, ran away, gave up - the people would be better off.

Isn’t socialism grand!
-
When the economy isn't dependent on one product, yes!
-
Even if it wasn’t dependent in one product, socialism is a horrible system. Go live in Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua or some other country suffering from that horrible disease you seem to praise before talking.
-
Dictatorships? I don't like those at all!
