USA is extremely far behind in water management and conservation. All toilets in the country should be dual flush, water should be reused, golf courses should be under strict goverment inspection and applying water conservation techniques. So much can de done, so much.

But California is having the real problems. Seattle, et al, don’t have CA’s environmental problems.

The problem is bigger. Is related to global warming. For example, Australia given its location have been dealing with drought for decades. Whole countries will feel the effects, some faster than others given their positions related to the ecuator.
