        Only if you build a long trailer lane exclusive for long trailered trucks, with drop yard enroute. That would be the only way to keep auto drivers safe.

        NO. I worked around truckers for 35 years and a lot of them you don’t want to be pulling longer trailers. Some of the stories I heard about how they would harass cars or cut corners to save time would curl your toes. NO to longer trailers.

        There's too much drift when the back is empty. Right turns become more difficult. Backing it up would be extra tricky. The whole thing is a headache.
