Of Americans between 16 and 24 years old actively looking for work this summer, 9.2% were unemployed in July, the Labor Department said. It was the lowest midsummer joblessness rate for youth since July 1966.https://on.wsj.com/2BisfWD

I’m sure it WOULD be lower since now you count part time, as “employed”. Although part time isn’t nearly enough to live on.

Did you see the age range? At that age, what you are looking for is part time, you are most likely a student. STOP THE HATE

I don’t hate, I only speak the facts. Being a student doesn’t pay rent. Students have to live sufficiently as well. Since the government now counts part-time as 4 hours a week or more, students can no longer receive financial help for unemployment, causing more drop outs.

Good now let's see the income inequality in those companies. Let's see if any of the jobs could pay for a apartment of a year of college.

Clearly the labor department didn’t poll anyone around me. I don’t know a single kid that can’t get a job and I know many businesses that can’t get help.

He expanded the ability of companies to hire more people due to all time high company earnings and tax/regulation cuts. Seems like you’re the idiot.
