        Perhaps the "obsession" is because "the left" is made up of people with great diversity, who are the victims of discrimination. And also, those who lean liberal tend to have more empathy and acceptance of those who are mistreated.

        Maybe because we don't like our friends being mistreated? Just funny that way, I guess. My friends, neighbors, co-workers, clients along with the same for my adult children....include Black people. And I like them and care about their well being. Really is that simple.
