        A government paralyzed & unable to legislate reasonable fixes to SS & medicare, would rather sit on its ass, and allow it to bankrupt itself, and an educational system that fails to teach responsible planning for ones future. We have met the enemy, and it is us.

        @jillonmoney had it more accurate. It's not the changes in income sources as much is increase in debt which reduces ability to adjust spending.
