Canada imposes tariffs up to 270% on US dairy products and Canada is getting a raw deal? The economic illiteracy coming from the WSJ is appalling!

A Canadian dairy company should be the last one complaining about unfair deals. Talk about hypocrisy!!!!

Thisvfellow needs to look at the the U.S. trade deficit with Canada. The blame lays with the Canadian government.

EU and other Western countries need the trade imbalance to subsidize their burdensome social welfare systems. As well as their past underpayment of NATO bills in relation to GDP. Fair Trade is all the US wants. All I want is the choice to purchase goods made by my fellow Citizens

China is building it's military on the backs of the western economies and it's China2025 goal for economic dominance and capture of worlds manufacturing ability. The next step being extortion for political and military subservience.

Why? For wanting to eliminate tariffs and level the playing field? Canada needs the US buying power...we don’t need them!!

Canada may find that the US was correct if they try to shift exports to other markets. Tariffs and restrictions to market are much worse than anything the US imposes. China2025 requires transfer of proprietary information. EU protects their home industries with tariffs.
