Red kidney beans are piling up at Chippewa Valley Bean Co. Growers are worrying. Customers are canceling. This is how tariffs ripple through American agriculture.https://on.wsj.com/2OKiyTE

There isn't enough cholesterol in beans to whet the typical American apetite.

Could they become feed for animals? Start a chili competition? Market their use? Tariffs are not an excuse for poor business/marketing. I will buy a few can their weekend stimulate demand

If FDR was in office he would start an American bean Friday. Urging everyone to be patriotic and eat beans at least one day a week. POTUS is out there busy trying to set up more trade deals.

We Americans all share the burden for people that do not want to work for a living. We Americans should all share the burden of those that suffer the most during this time that we must put tariffs on Chinese products. This is for the good of all of us. Make America strong again

It takes a while for poor economic decisions to manifest themselves - but much much longer to correct. Trump inherited a solid economy.

Put those beans in a warehouse and grow something else next year. Farming is risky, no matter what the circumstances, no matter what the commodity is. Mother Nature could wreck the entire crop in one hail storm. Disease could wipe out an entire flock/herd.
