Red kidney beans are piling up at Chippewa Valley Bean Co. Growers are worrying. Customers are canceling. This is how tariffs ripple through American agriculture.https://on.wsj.com/2KlG2Ls

Well the farmers will just have to suck it up and take corporate welfare from Trump. They’re “patriots” after all.

I must admit, I don’t feel sorry for them. I think it will have to be proven beyond doubt that his policies are destructive. And the only way to show it will be actual destruction. Then *maybe* a few knuckleheads will be swayed. Probably not though.

A little pain can be a person’s best education in poor decision making. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well at least they will be better off when we win the trade war and all of their customers come back to them at increased pricing and higher volumes. That’s what the ultimate outcome will be right Donnie? But seriously good luck, I hate that our farmers are being hurt here.

Sounds like beans are about to get cheaper for the American people.

Farmers should offer the inventory of beans to states to help feed the homeless and in areas where poverty is high. Most states should be able to buy and feed those in need. @oann

Trump will bail them out. No worries. Markets will close and be difficult to re-open. Other, smaller ones, may open. We'll see. Just be patient. That's all. Just trust in ideas that have failed before. It's OK. We're Americans. We either have amnesia or no sense of history.

Beans are bad for you. Lectins produced by plants interfere with cell communication, cause disease.
