        Good question, establishing trade relationship with #China was the right move and liberated hundreds millions of #Chinese from extreme #poverty while making low cost goods available, but the tyrannical regime shouldn't have been allowed #WTO membership until proven responsible

        Only countries that respect global trade rules should be allowed membership, not China that built and economy by violating them and stealing inventions and intellectual property of the nations that invested trillions in innovation and brand making

        if the US embedded some sort of reform requirements, preconditions and enforcement mechanism in dealings with China when US had a significant economic leverage, by now China wouldn't been reformed into a more normal democratic country and more responsible power

        US should not be able to "allow" or "disallow" another country to behave as it considers proper. Is the USA a global hegemonic? A dictator? China has its rights, yes? And USA is not China's "boss."
