This is not a sustainable model. But neither is charging for a full beverage but only providing 3/4 of a drink. I stopped going to @Starbucks because I got tired of asking to fill the cup all the way all the time.pic.twitter.com/BQX4lHjngc

I'm not proud. I ask for the full cup anyplace that pulls this 3/4 full crap. LOL.
@GVoelbel
Hmmmm, maybe traffic is down because prices are up. People will only pay so much for a cup of coffee. Someone is going to take that lower priced market share.
I stopped going to Starbucks about 2 years ago when my chai tea went over $4. I brew it at home for about .$50.
Send the liberals into bankruptcy..... lol
Not a big fan of their mediocre coffee, but it looks like higher margin/ lower volume is working for them.
Working for now ... Lower volume means dissatisfaction or increased competition . That’s going to come home to roost soon enough .
They have plenty of competition at the low end; you can buy crappy coffee for $1 at McDs. You can also pay much more for decent coffee. They just need to figure out what market they want to be in.
Such thought provoking comments.
I guess the public was forced to pay fof the time spent/lost during the anti-bias training. I wouldn't drink a Starbucks coffee if it was free.
