Of course, profit amassing is more important than giving fair and well deserved wages to the truckers. Greed! Best freight market in a generation means more income to the companies, employees deserve an increase in wages.

Worry rising wages could lower earnings? Duh, that's supposed to happen. Nothing to worry about. If business is booming, business is booming

Because the wealthy investors need to make way more than the people who actually drive the trucks. Better pay them less so you can still afford that villa on the Riviera, and the private jet to get you there.

Profits over people. I remember a time when companies weren't just obligated to make more money for shareholders but for all stakeholders; customers, suppliers, community and employees. You all have gutted the chicken because you are sure you can get more golden eggs.

They do know that many truckers only get paid to move freight not loading or unloading and they often have fuel taken out of their check.

Classic “bull market mentality” meaning that we have more upside potential than downside risk. To summarize: “Business is so strong and so great that now is time to worry about inflation picking up from wage demands.” We are desperate for wage inflation! It should be welcomed.

Wage inflation is always a concern at the tail of a recovery phase. After 8 years of recovery, it’s probably inevitable.

Hilarious wages & earnings. Do you need ten million a year. No you don't. Balance. There should be a maximum & minimum tie. One hundred percent maximum difference between them.

Wages are a pittance. It’s about fuel hedging, accidents and driver quality.
