Sen Flake on the Senate floor just accused Trump of Treason. And why did Trump insist on being alone in the room with Putin? Art 3, Claus 1. "..No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open court."

Sen @JeffFlake used truly startling language on the Senate floor just now, invoking the constitutional definition of treason to describe the president's comments w/ Putin in Helsinki. Trump, he said, "let down the free world by giving aid and comfort to an enemy of democracy."

So “The Art of the Deal” is apparently to have no agenda, write nothing down, let in no reporters, and then to simply agree to whatever your opponent says because you can’t prove otherwise. Got it.

People are dissecting the word treason “must be during war time” yadi ya. But when you make agreements with adversary who used technology to attack your county unbeknownst to your generals, cabinet members, that is betraying your country, treason.

Trump didn't want anyone in the meeting because he didn't know what Putin's orders would be. How can Trump tell his military his plans when he doesn't know what the plans are yet.

What Trump & Putin agreed 2 is. 2 agree to disagree. They talked about Israel, North Korea, denuclearization, nothing was agreed to on paper. If you wasn't so consumed with wanting Trump make Putin look bad at the news conference, you'd know that. No one cares. Nothing was asked!
