The shake up is good in the long run. The WTO historically favors China, and if trade had continued "as is" only China benefits. Does anyone really want a communist country to be the world's economic superpower? The U.S. and the EU should be working together against China

Not a real fan of Trump, but nothing has stopped the extortion of technology as the price of business in China. Foreign companies have to hand over the technology to manufacture there. It is a national security issue; 80% of our military hardware has Chinese components

It’s so perplexing to me why Trump has voluntarily given up our seat at the table and congress has done nothing to counteract that. Hard to make America great when you’re leaving the game all together.

        #Merkel's #EU backstabbing of #America will come with an huge price tag. Together with #China against #America in #worldtradewar is a bad deal 4 @NATO & #EU. #Backlash will be worse.pic.twitter.com/FFCDiqpBDt

China is never going to give up control. They have a system that works for them and inhibits everyone else. The only way to make them play by the rules is to limit their goods and companies the way they limit foreigners.
