which consequently gives US auto manufacturers room to raise their prices commensurately. Tariffs are negative for growth in addition to being inflationary

Please be specific with what you mean by “Buy American.” A Chevy assembled in Mexico? Ford Imported from Canada? A BMW X-series assembled in South Carolina? Honda assembled in Ohio? Anything Dodge/Chrysler/Ram/Jeep (now owned by the Italian company Fiat) #BuyAmerican? 🤔

No. Can’t miss something I never experienced. I’m in my 30s. The auto industry has never produced a car made of American parts on American soil in my lifetime.

I had a BMW which I sold because something new had to be fixed almost quarterly. SOLD IT!

Better get an American car, because they never break down and are the best. Believe me, I’ve driven all the cars, they are the best. Tremendous cars. Best Quality. Period.

This could eat through that $1.50 bi-weekly tax savings fairly quickly.
