A country of Croatia’s size toppling France in the World Cup final would be the biggest ever coup in this tournamenthttps://on.wsj.com/2zBaC3l

“a country of this size making it this far in the biggest tournament of the world’s most popular sport is completely absurd.” Perhaps - but as a Croatian American basketball star once said - "Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion!" #CRO #Vatreni 🔥 #WorldCupFinal

I think Uruguay (also small) beating Brazil in Brazil in 1950 will remain the largest upset even if Croatia wins.

All Croatia has to do is travel to the Ardennes and France will fold before the game starts.

Population is irrelevant you can only play 11 men on the field at once. If your country plays a sport the Pareto principle will give even the smallest country still enough quality players to compete with the largest. Go away and read some books.

Croatia only managed a draw with Malta in a Euro qualifier in 2005. Malta has a population of 400k. Kind of proves my point.

Why the obsession with race? You're embarrassing yourself.

On that we agree, not my choice. I left London on 1999, and go back often. Some areas unrecognizable.
