Trump is a pawn for the military industrial complex. If he actually served instead of ran from military service with a foot boo boo, he'd think differently.

We need a Constitution amendment stating if @POTUS wants to start a war, his sons @DonaldJTrumpJr and @EricTrump should be the first to go. Wars will end if the rich people have to fight.

The US share of GDP for defense expenditures declined from 4.78% in 2011 to 3.50% in 2018 (2018 NATO estimates). NATO Europe and Canada’s share of GDP for defense expenditures declined only slightly from 1.52% to 1.47% over the same period.

4% Geez what war are you spending yourself into oblivion for? US should instead target 2% and maybe that will give its people universal healthcare.

For history buffs the USSR lost Afghanistan war because they spent themselves into oblivion with an outsize military budget and being stuck in a quagmire for a decade. A rough calculation of US 2% spending target is $300+ billion saved that could pay down deficit or healthcare.

This is why Europe has historically been invaded and conquered..and then we have to go over and bail them out..they need to start defending themselves adequately rather than expecting us to do it for them...especially when they wont even buy our stuff anymore

Ok fine I'll bite. When exactly was Europe conquered, and by whom? Maybe genghis Khan? Xerxes? The umayyads? US response to bail them out was especially weak back then. It was almost like we didn't exist.

France..twice ..maybe more...I think they are. Part of Europe? Britain would have fallen had we not joined ww2...Italy lost in ww2....Poland and east Germany taken over by soviets for many years...I could go on and on...

Europe was conquered by Europe then? No wonder they didn't see it coming. The enemy was I side the house the whole time.
