Monday morning quarter backing, they had no idea if it was a trap there may have been other shooters in other rooms ready to ambush the officers. Gun Ho types have never been shot at are always quick to judge. When the lead starts flying is what separates the men from the boys.

These officers were a floor below...they weren’t the only ones responding. They obviously were in a tactical position.

Yeah, why were they not in the correct floor? ‘Tactical position’? Tell that to the sheriff at Stoneman Douglas too. He was also in tactical position to save his life too

No one knew exactly where the gunfire was coming from...they were all searching floor by floor. You can hear them alerting dispatch it’s above them

The point is that they knew it was above them already, then stopped and retreated. Even the group leader admitted it. Read the article. Lol. What are you trying to defend?

The level of training, mental preparedness, & personal commitment it takes to advance on the position of an armed suspect firing from a barricaded position can't be overstated. Facing your own mortality & fighting through that fear requires true heroics that most don't possess.

The officer admitted that he “froze.” This was not tactical positioning as some are claiming. I don’t think law enforcement is a wise career choice for this man going forward. It’s time to move on to something else if you allow fear to paralyze you.
