People who genuinely need pain medication can barely get them. That’s a failure to me. No, I don’t want the government f*cking things up more than they already have/do.

Exactly right! People with legitimate pain can’t get help or feel like criminals if they ask for help.

It's NOT PRESCRIPTION meds hell even the @CDCgov had to LIE to get the numbers they needed for their guidelines! @WSJ should know better than to just go with the "Press Releases" https://www.cato.org/blog/cdc-researchers-state-overdose-death-rates-prescription-opioids-are-inaccurately-high … https://www.acsh.org/news/2018/03/19/cdc-quietly-admits-it-screwed-dishonestly-counting-pills-12717 …https://www.painnewsnetwork.org/stories/2018/3/21/cdc-admits-rx-opioid-deaths-significantly-inflated …

Limiting prescription supply to people already addicted will open up huge black market for prescription pain killers especially heroin. If government limited you to a buying a 6-pack of beer per week, you really think it would help any alcoholics?

How can someone feel, really feel another's pain? And we want the government to determine what is best for an individual???

As a #PainPatient I OFTEN tell people to "stick a screwdriver in their eye... AND LEAVE IT THERE and then meet me here tomorrow and then we can talk about PAIN and you can pick phillips or flathead." For some reason no one wants to take me up on the offer, you know!

Well, people who need them can't even get them in SC. We are the losers. When taken carefully they are immensely helpful.
