Worst credit card ever. We don't accept it in our shops. They charge us 4% to accept it, BS.

That's your decision to make. The court merely said that if you DO take Amex, you have to follow their merchant agreement.

Yup that's why we don't. And I recommend other stores don't either. In Canada that's a business killer.

AmEx offers its participating merchants and its cardholders more benefits and prestige than most other cards. If you take advantage of their merchant support and avail yourself of their free supplies (varies by industry) and their other client-oriented programs it is worth it.
