Thousands arrive monthly at legal U.S. border crossings and asking for the U.S. government to protect them. Most won't get that protection.https://on.wsj.com/2K0KB2l

Your grandkids will read about baby jails in school and ask you why it happened. Be sure to tell the WHOLE truth. 😒

It will be in the same chapter as WW2 internment camps. Another embarrassment.

Considering there are now web pages to coach people what phrases to use to claim asylum is the increase surprising? Don’t think so.....

Something needs to be done at the source. The US needs to have talks with the leaders of the nations that these people come from. The problems within those countries need to be addressed. So many shouldn't have to flee their home country.

Claiming asylum is a perceived immigration loophole.

Do you think we have unlimited resources? That the thousands and thousands who have already arrived don't clog up our systems, and suck down our resources? Who does it help, to import immigrants? Definitely not the American families who have to pay more for housing.

Though I disagree with US policy on their treatment of #illegals I have to agree on this. If you're coming to a country just for #usprotection and not wanting to work, stay the fuck in #Mexico.

Sounds like it’s about time for America to annex and tax Mexico.

Going all the way to Panama next will make them all Americans.

Change law which requires one be physically in, or at U.S. border to request asylum, then set up a process so they can apply at a U.S. Consulate, or embassy. Once claim reviewed, they'll be denied, or can proceed on to America. Remove incentive for need to physically trek here.
