After years of fighting GMO foods, I realized: How could I endorse the scientific consensus on climate change while denying the scientific consensus on GMOs?https://on.wsj.com/2yFb7sC

Good piece. Too often, the public picks and chooses when to hail science and when to disregard it. As with economics and protectionism. Here’s a snapshot of the clear scientific consensus: http://www.igmchicago.org/surveys/steel-and-aluminum-tariffs …

I just realized that I’m allergic to pesticides and what I find absolutely misguiding is the fact that NON GMO foods are not the same as organic.

I'm not a climate change advocate but #GMO foods have contributed to the we'll being of humanity

The 30 years already happened and the evidence is conclusive: climate change is definitely occurring.

@GreenwayPork I didn't read it but the headline sounds like it's something you might appreciate.

It’s a great story of someone actually wanting to learn and being open-minded to scientific information.

Genetically modified sounds bad, but it could be as simple as cross pollination, and selective breeding.

I am not against non-GMO products, in fact I have bought them many times. However, I have never been against GMO products. In fact I have always felt that they can solve many problems like world hunger, drought, and poverty.

Easy answer = it's because you're a liberal and liberals cannot stand other people having the freedom to enjoy themselves.

Excused me. GMO foods are greatly reducing the carbon for print to produce them. And the hype is largely irrelevant except for the pressure on heritage crop gene pools.
