More colleges and universities should do the same. Achieving high SAT and ACT scores is stressful for many students and distracts them from the primary purpose of education: Learning.

Your assumption is that learning itself is not stressful, which is hardly true.

Earning high test scores adds stress. I agree learning is sometimes — even often — stressful in and of itself

funny how the system can keep devaluing a degree but keep increasing the price when they are financed with debt that can not be dispelled in bankruptcy. #theamericanlie #scam

The internet has changed dramatically how we shop, listen to music, get media, communicate, and even drive. Yet our education system has hardly changed and yet only went up in price. It is an out of date system hanging on by exploitation of the young in the form of debt.

Obsession with the SAT does not promote diversity. Opportunity must exist for everyone seriously interested in hard work, discipline and focused effort.
