“American multinationals” have the option of producing goods anywhere in the world, including China. They don’t need american labor.

You don’t understand; if GM decides to build cars in China for the Chinese market, there is nothing the u.s. can do about it. This will force them to move jobs elsewhere to avoid tariffs.

FYI, GM currently operates at least 5 manufacturing plants in China for the Chinese market. Do you really think that the u.s. government (which holds a significant amount of GM stock) is going to try and fight that battle? The court case would outlive this administration.

There has been totally no outrage with China human rights record these days & the Democratic world seems to kowtow to this Commie "economic marvel." The China Commie Party should be denied access to all Capital Markets unless they embrace a respect for human rights and Democracy.
