North Korea is seizing the public-relations moment, depicting the Trump-Kim summit as a historic meeting of equalshttps://on.wsj.com/2JDhUIv

They have to say what they can to "save face". Because they say it doesn't make it true. So many in this country do not want peace. They would rather we do nothing. The press hated Trump when he was to tough before they. hated him because he was too nice

Yes it was of equals. US President stooped down significantly to make equal

@realDonaldTrump Great job elevating a murderous dictator. I can’t wait to see what the columnists at the @WSJ, like even-handed @KimStrassel, do with your sell-out to NK. Oh, yeah, I forgot.

Not at all. First of all, your comparison is inapt. Cuba is a threat to no one. Fidel didn’t starve his people. Trump has elevated a murderer who has threatened the US and made numerous concessions to him with nothing in return. My fear is that our president is incompetent.

Your “what-about” arguments are silly and pointless. The president with whom we are now stuck is the issue. He got nothing and gave away much. Prior presidents, both Rs and Ds, at least had the sense to press demands on NK. Mr. “Art of the Deal” blew the deal.

Why wouldn't they, it's called "saving face". As long as the outcome is the right one, who cares what the media says. We don't care in America or Hillary Clinton would be POTUS.
