If you trult believe in the market than all that means is that the demand will lead developers to build new houses elsewhere. All while providing more jobs for builders, architects, etc.

This is a result of the huge trade surpluses China runs with us. The same happened with Japan in the 80s w/ high profile acquisitions such as Rockefeller Center. In the end they just fueled their own real estate bubble which ultimately burst. Stay tuned...
