I agree, end these farm subsidies. They don't go to small family farms, they are corporate welfare for big agra.

Brilliant. Get them all complaining about tariffs then pitch a free trade zone. This man is formidable. He’s owning everyone without even trying.

Agree 100% ”tariff free” Other countries must first change their own trade polices and stop using the U.S. as “a piggy bank everyone is robbing.”"No tariffs, no barriers. 'no tariffs'," the US president said to his fellow G7 leaders "on the need to have fair and reciprocal trade"

Great idea. Eliminate all trade barriers & subsidies. Unfortunately, too many Euro countries would object; they should be held to account for their massive subsidies for state run industries and agricultural/GMO barriers hurting farmers worldwide #FreeTrade @realDonaldTrump

Amazing. Gives a chance for media pundits to pivot this weekend to dangers of free trade and this policy cost in US jobs.

He looked surprised when the topic was brought up at the press conference but then quickly owned it. I wonder if it was really his idea.

So tariff free G7 would resolve the American problem?

Certainly be more helpful than it is now. Take dairy as an example. Canada puts a 270% tariff on any dairy products coming in. Is that fair to our dairy farmers?
