He looked like he was done for 3 years before he went to Hou.. And the last time people 35 or older got BETTER.. some PEDs were involved
-
Hmm not so much. He finished second in cy young 2016. And many felt he should have won. Yes he struggled to start 2017 and was injured in 2015. But by mid summer last year two months before trade was awesome. So no. Not true. Yes he is even better now though.

I don't care what you say. You don't go from a mid to high 3 era to low 1s naturally at age 35+. Not happening
-
Oh. I see. You are saying PEDs. Got it. Who knows
-
I can buy someone like Cole who is still young and has ability, but not 2 35+ guys like him and Morton doing what they are doing naturally.

Randy Johnson did it. So did Nolan Ryan
-
That's 2 of how many.. And what Era was Randy pitching in again?

This article does not explain how Verlander immediately reduced his era by over 2 runs per game late in his career once moving to Houston. Are their analytics really that good? I am a huge JV fan but his performance since moving to Houston is stunning

The Atlanta Braves' powerhouse pitching staff of the 90's was credited to the pitching coach Leo Mazzone. His pitchers claimed that Leo "taught me how to win when I don't have stuff". A terrific life lesson. I show up at the office sometimes "without my stuff" and I manage.
