Keep your office door open. Don't mentor any women. No coffees or dinners with students. These are a few of the workarounds universities have come up with for tenured faculty accused of sexual harassmenthttps://on.wsj.com/2JgT80P

This is the logical outcome of any scenario where the definition of "acceptable behavior" is (a) completely subjective and (b) so fluid, it can change from minute to minute. Why risk a one-sided he said, she said situation? Just avoid the possibility altogether.

"Grievance procedures" put in place by teacher and professor unions ("faculties") make it time consuming and expensive to remove rotten apples, especially rotten apples with tenure. Fix the procedures to save a lot of time and money.

#MeToo has successfully created a Sharia compliant environment in universities. What's next, Burkas for female professors?

It would seem to me this policy is tacitly advising the rest of the non-accused faculty, who don’t wish to risk any chance they would be accused of sexual harassment, to adopt similar policies & behaviors. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Probably a good idea for all men, university professors or in business, school teachers or coaches. Any man. No sense taking any chances in today’s world.

Remember when Mike Pence was ridiculed for giving similar advice? People act like men did not know the rules before. Sexual harassment policies have been standard for decades. Men knew when they crossed the line. Many were deservedly fired for it. #metoo is not a new concept.
