Neither were the last 4. This has been a looming problem. It’s an imperative now.

Yes, bridges, roads, railways. And, his plan was private enterprise investment in the infrastructure. Private and Public Power are ready to do this. They are in need of the Govt exercising ED to move beyond planning.

I watched Levin who had a guest that described the impact of an EMP. One nuclear explosion above our atmosphere could cripple our grid resulting in the loss of 90% of our population. To ‘harden’ the grid from EMP, weather & solar flares would cost $3 billion. Worth it!

Expensive, very expensive. Even you don't build a grid for large solar- and wind power and huge expensive backup system ready to start every second all the time.

You build for the most common, efficient form of electrical power. Period.

Well. Probably not, but US should do that. CA rules with mandatory solar panels on roofs are one problem that will make the power grid cost explode over time. There are no 100% renewable solution for US, whatever people lie about it. :/

Gee, sure seems like a better use of OUR Tax $ at home for National Security purposes than "unconstitutionally 'giving away' said Tax $ to Kurdish rebels abroad. Why aren't we LOANING the $ to Kurdish rebels sitting on TRILLIONS of oil? Mere corruption. Private concessions.

This has been a necessity for over 20yrs-it’s now imperative. Problem? People like the Western NE Ranchers that keep fighting it because the Grid, well it’s just not pretty...I say, build it anyway. Greater good is the reason for Gov Eminent Domain.

So, there's going to be a big scam by eletric companies of pushing up prices because of "the need of investments".... Like in Finland sold electricity covers less than 1/4 of the electric bill.....

Mr. @realDonaldTrump @WhiteHouse @tedcruz should take care that US people don't get overcharged for next 20 years by electric companies. This is a serious message. REMEMBER THIS! DON'T LET PEOPLE GET TO BE FOOLED BY ELECTRIC COMPANIES!
