THERE ARE NO SOCIAL SECURITY TRUST FUNDS. Excess Social Security taxes have been raided from the beginning. All there are, are “IOUs”. All there is, is more debt. The government spent the money. There is 3+ trillion dollars in SS IOUs. They have to borrow the money to pay.

SS is a benefit we have honored for generations. We need to continue the benefit as promised. ❤️

Current SS taxes pay current SS benefits. The excess was siphoned off and spent, every year, for “anything else”. There’s just a 3 trillion dollar pile of government debt accumulated to the “SS Trust Fund”. The National Deficit is already nearly 1 Trillion every year.

The government needs to pay back Social Security for all the money it has borrowed from it. It would solvent if government paid back their debt.

Republicans WANT all social programs to go broke. They planned it that way with their tax SCAM❗️The Koch brothers have this as one of their goals. They want to roll back all progress since FDR was president❗️

That's b/c the USA has been giving Illegal Aliens, Asylum Seeker's and Refugees Social Security benefits since the early 80's and either of them have ever paid any monies into the funds. Only USA Citizens have paid into the Social Security Funds.

This makes no sense. The government creates money. It spends money into existence. The accounting status of Medicare or Social Security has no affect on the ability of the government to fund those programs.

Rest assured - Kudlow and Mnuchin said everything is fine - growth, thanks to the corporate tax cut, will make up for any shortfall. 4% GDP right around the corner

What reserves? If your company ran their retirement plan like Social Security, you'd be asking Trump for a pardon!
