Taken to its illogical conclusion, either Vegas (or the U.S. itself) could have "automated" drivers, card dealers, concierge, delivery drones, blah blah blah. But it would come with a poverty and resultant crime problem so pronounced it would outweigh ANY proposed advantages.

Second, the ADVERSE ECONOMIC EFFECT of "taking away so many car driving jobs" is incalculable. Think of the after-tax spending in the economy from said jobs. These aren't highly skilled workers that can just pick up new work in a related field. Where do they get replacement jobs?
