A global tug of war between the U.S. and China has become the dominant feature on the global landscape, and it figures to stay that way for a long while.https://on.wsj.com/2IW3cw8

Someone is finally saying it. Reason Kim is forced to stop nuclearizing and pretend to 'like to meet with Trump' = China. Reason he must = China. Reason Trump is pretending to want to meet him = China. Reason Trump won't = more interested in hurting the US.

I should be more clear: I respect China & love China's culture. I have taught Chinese business culture at the Norwegian School of Management. I have visited China several times. I have a better understanding of Chinese culture than Trump, I am rather sure. We must work WITH China

What exactly do you think Trump can or will do about China? He and his family are hugely indebted to them. Trump is an impotent negotiator at this point.

China is essentially re-playing what the U.S. did post-WW2, to end Britain’s dominance. The strategy and the tactics are adapted to suit the time, stakes, skills and techs with one key difference - total authoritarianism v pseudo democracy. It may not take too long to equalize!

Why be negative? Why are the stories always negative? Things working themselves out. What blesses ineblesses all. It's all good. Things can get better & better everyday for everyone.
