Sen. Flake hopes President Trump would face a challenge from a GOP member in 2020 'simply to remind Republicans what conservatism is, and what Republicans have traditionally stood for'https://on.wsj.com/2IOltLt

How about a challenger who stands for honesty and transparency? Respects Rule of Law? Stop with the conservative crap. We’re talking basic America 101. Don’t be a flake, Jeff

I think Flake is implying the GOP isn’t conservative anymore. It’s beyond. It’s fascism, posing as conservatism. I think he imagines a 2020 challenge to look like “Support Trump for fascism; support the challenger for real conservatism.”

I see. Okay I guess I’m concerned about playing into partisanship right now. I’d love to see an appeal to Americans across the board. I think our nation is under attack. It feels that way. We need to come together.

He should challenge the President if he feels strongly about his beliefs. I am sure there are a lot of never Trumpers that will contribute money to any candidate that will challenge the President

The 2nd place party of 2008/2012? The party that would never break through blue wall? The party weak on supporting middle class? Weak on its promises to Israel? Weak with 90% media whose objective is total progressive control of our country? That Party? Good luck wth that.

What does Jeff Flake know about conservatism? He cannot get voters in his own state to support him, and he wants to comment on how the rest of the GOP and America should vote? He’s a worthless buffoon. He knows it. AZ voters know it, too.

I’m sorry, but his voting has proven otherwise. He is just as complicit as ALL the other Republicans. This “crying wolf” is too little, too late...no?
