Dear @Starbucks if you don’t hire someone trained to sanitize restrooms you won’t see me in your stores. A teenager with a mop is not going to appropriately clean blood and other bodily fluids to make it safe for others.

Not to mention possibly dealing with needles. If my child was looking for a job, Starbucks would be off the list. There’s a good chance their Board or upper management wouldn’t volunteer for that duty. Talk from their Chairman is pretty cheap.

McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts have always let people just stop in to use the bathroom. Not that big a deal.
-
Actually it depends on where you live if you live in a high crime area you are not allowed to use a McDonald’s bathroom unless you’re a paying customer...doors are locked
-
I put 80 k miles on my car in 2 years. So I know where I can use the restroom: McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts. But I am not driving in the city.

.
@Starbucks how are you going to keep workers safe when handling this type of situations? You need to train them in both areas how to handle the new policy of open to everyone & how to be safe while performing these tasks at work. Workers and the public deserve your attention. -
Wonder how much avg worker at a coffee shop makes to handle toxic waste?
-
Not even close to enough

I’m personally going to the drug clinics and handing out Starbucks gift cards to fill up the place . I’ll go back to Maxwell House & Mr. Coffee
-
How are you going to live with the stigma of having a cup of coffee that only costs 50 cents rather than 7 dollars?
