        1. Easy Credit. 2. Easy Credit only in the USA. 3. Easy Credit for education = increase the cost of tuition. 4. Orthodontists can earn up to half a million a year. 5. He got some publicity out of this. So he will make his money and some more!

How? He's American. This doesn't exist in any other Western country. Education like Healthcare is largely for profit in America. This is an extreme example but not a surprise.

His wife's mom had to cosign his house. He plans on being atleast 2 mill in debt including his house for the next 25 years. When his loans get forgiven he will still end up paying over 1 million. He will have nothing to leave to his kids

I wouldn’t trade driving a Tesla, traveling all over, and spending money I don’t have, & being a slave to debt, for being debt free.

I mean anyone can go into debt and drive an expensive car and travel all over, that doesn’t make it smart

One more reason why you shouldn't make a stupid decision when getting a loan. If he used a bit of common logic he could've avoided it. There's cheaper options for school that are reasonable for low income residents.

The American dream is dead. Are you 25 and under? More than likely you will never own your own home. Congrats.

Take out a loan and buy yourself a better attitude, kid. Better yet, pay as you go

Not always about attitude. I can be as optimistic (delusional) as I want that 2+2 will somehow equal 5 one day but that doesn’t mean it will ever be so.

Not necessarily about attitude, but is about choices. Dozens of professions paying well that can't fill spots, but so many have been fed a steady diet of 'follow your passions' that they don't have the skills.
