Vomitoxin is rearing it's ugly head in the Eastern Cornbelt. I'm hearing levels that eclipse what we saw in 2009 and 2014, upwards of 50 ppm in corn.
For reference, pigs start to refuse feed and vomit at 1 to 2 ppm.

This chart is a sobering reality check on our demand picture. And this is ALL imports so it's not like China is avoiding the U-S to buy corn and soybeans from our competitors

#China is importing much smaller volumes of agricultural goods than a year ago as the slow economy has curbed demand. Through August, 2022 #corn imports were down 21%, #soybeans down 9%, #wheat down 10% and #pork down 64%.

Pro Farmer pegs U.S. #corn yield at 168.1 bu/acre and #soybeans at 51.7 bu/acre. USDA was 175.4 and 51.9 earlier this month.
Pro Farmer puts the corn crop at 13.759 bln bu and soy at 4.535 bln bu.
