Just to clear things up for those who might be confused, rent control is not the same as rent stabilization, which is being proposed in HB 1388 and HB 1389. Under these bills, rents can still rise year over year and between tenancies.

That is not true. RENT CONTROL is exactly what those two bills would impose statewide. RENT CONTROL fails to produce affordable housing and it degrades housing stock everywhere it has been implemented. You are pushing failed policies that will make our housing crisis worse.
