We read this book for our own book club a while back. I've only heard this concern from people who haven't read it. I think it does a fair job considering it often is citing studies relating to biological sex. The author says this is the opening chapter:pic.twitter.com/D0VFdZ1vQV

The book is how the vast majority or our research and data collected is about cis-male experience, Trans folk - are even more invisible within those data sets. I think any book that relies upon external research is going to struggle on this topic if the data isn't out there.

So, does this mean it's only ok to read books about trans- and non-binary people? Should we have some nice and cosy book burnings?
