We were very close to this in Australia until the rush wasn’t a rush for vaccines and a premier decided that the economy was more important than health. Lucky some states are keeping borders closed to get its people vaccinated! Yet this makes them unpopular

And this is why people like the LNP govt need to understand that states like Qld know the virus will eventually come in, but the reality is, while there are measures to minimise infections and deaths like lockdowns etc, we need to continue to do that. LNP refuse to minimise death
