That was perfection: the show, the Q&A, everything blissfully perfect.

Everyone must watch #Nolly on ITVX next week! It's brilliantly nostalgic - Rackhams! - emotional but also very, very funny. Fantastic telly. Thanks everyone who came to our fantastic premiere.

I relish getting to natter with Vic Minette on but to hear Diana Moran is still exercising and I have yet to start, 40 years after the launch of BBC Breakfast Time, it's sobering. I need a biscuit.

I am a Remainer. Apparently I broke Brexit. I don't understand how, but I fully apologise and am willing for us to rejoin the EU to put it right.

This is how reviews should be written: I'm not and never will be a kickboxer, but this writer is and she's superb at covering just what Apple's new workouts do and can't do.

Stephen Grief was working in my town once when I was writing a Blake’s 7 project. I interviewed him, he was great, the project fizzled out — and then each year he came back to Birmingham he would suggest a coffee. I can only have met him four or five times, but I will miss him.

When something is right, I mean just somehow right, it makes me cry. For six Christmas Eves now I've watched Arrival as a writers' midnight mass and tonight it's made me actually sob. God, to be able to write like that.
