Hey Reed. No side, we're reporting what the mayor said, and also sharing videos that appear to show the opposite. Thanks for reading.

You don't have to copy and paste the lies. You can ask follow up questions.

Hi there. These briefings happen virtually & our reporters type in as many questions as we can and hope they’re answered. We sent follow ups by email as reflected in this story. We are still following up on this & here’s what we know so far:https://wfpl.org/louisville-mayor-claims-without-details-protesters-seized-supplies-were-hazardous/ …

#NoPicturesNoProof Cops love to take pictures of stuff they confiscate when they're doing a good job. So if they found all this "flammable" materials, why didn't they go big, say how the protesters are so bad, and take pictures? Oh yeah. 'cause it's a lie.#NoJusticeNoPeace -
And if it was flammable, why on earth would they dump it out over the ground? Seems a risky move to dump fuel all around.

did you then ask them why they just straight up lied to you like that? so you could avoid spreading misinformation to your viewers

Hey Justin, thanks for the feedback. When the mayor makes a claim we think it's important to tell the public what he is saying. We have also shared videos tonight that appear to dispute what he said. Thanks again.
