The airdrops work in #SouthSudan is commendable.
It's just been reported by @AFP that 80% of #Tigray is unreachable for aid. Food airdrops in #Tigray now will help avert famine.
#UNSCActNow to ensure #EritreaOutOfTigray & avoid looting of food provided by @WFP.
In 5 years, @WFP has performed 32,000 airdrops in #SouthSudan. If donors invest $15M to help us rehabilitate the roads here, we will save $100M in airdrops in just 1 year. Imagine the assistance we could provide and the number of meals we could deliver with those savings!pic.twitter.com/AA6F1MtJAV

The Air drop need to continue to prop up the paymasters sitting somewhere in advanced capitals . Building the road in jungly state, Sourh Sudan is not to their interest and their economic well being.

A town of 850,000 people needs $15M to help rehabilitate the roads for cost-effective access to deliver meals, because it doesn't make sense spending $100M on airdrops per year.
