    This theft has robbed nearly 2M people in of the food and nutrition support they so desperately need.   Not only is this a tremendous setback to WFP operations, but it endangers our staff and jeopardizes our ability to meet the needs of the most vulnerable families. (2/2)

    Hunger is no longer about lack of food. It is largely a man-made disaster – concentrated in countries affected by large-scale, protracted conflict. As we mark , we must remember our responsibility to do everything in our power to tackle both hunger & conflict.
