    To the world leaders & the billionaires: imagine if this was your child or your grandchild about to starve, you would do everything you possibly could to save them. While there’s $400 trillion of wealth in the world today, shame on us that we let a single child die of hunger.

    I'm billions of $$$ short to avert famine for millions of people in 2022. What do we do? Should we take food from the children who are hungry to give to the starving?? Don't ask us to choose which children eat and which children don't eat. No child should starve.

    Women have made incredible contributions to 's work. In the last 4 years, WFP has added 3,390 women to our global workforce–going from 34% to now, 42% in 2022. We have achieved significant progress so far, and are working hard to do much more.

    If farmers in are on the battlefield and can't plant or harvest, how do you think this war is going to impact global food prices, commodity markets & hunger worldwide?? As I explained at today, this won’t just be a price problem; it will be a supply issue.
