    In response to me saying "Twitterati, we're better than that", several folks have said, "No, we're not". I am appealing to people's better natures. I know I can be good or cruel on Twitter. It's not set in stone. Its a choice. I am asking people to take the better path. w.

    I support trans people 100%. A neighbor is a transwoman, I've been great friends with her for years. I also say that women deserve penis free spaces in bathrooms, sports, women's shelters, prisons, and the like. So sue me. w.

    I am SOOO tired of these kinds of hysterical claims. Current sea-level rise is about 8 inches (200 mm) per century, with little to no sign of acceleration despite endless predictions of same. 2 m in 80 years is about 100 inches per century. Pass … that's brainless alarmism. w.

    A worst case outcome of 2 meters sea level rise by 2100 is a risk we should certainly consider, but lets not misconstrue it as the most likely outcome.

    I love folks getting all hysterical about this, when not one in a hundred of them from outside MO and KS , when asked "What state do the Kansas City Chiefs represent", would have said "Missouri". And that includes me. So Claire just called me an idiot. Political loserthink. w.

    2/X ... at US$3.50/gallon is among the most costly in the nation thanks to insane taxes. That works out to about US$0.13 per mile. A Tesla gets on the order of 3.2 miles per KWh ... which means that in Europe, it works out to about US$0.27 per mile. Go figure ... w.

    Well the academic nepotism of appointing Hayhoe as lead author on NCA4, and particularly scenarios chapter, speaks for itself. She has no published expertise on this topic, and as an activist has a vested interest in extreme scenarios.

    John, it was 100% by democracy. It's called a "Referendum", you might have heard of them ... or you might be consumed by denial & crazy conspiracy theories. And by "act like a European", do you mean put on a yellow vest, or welcome in millions of Islamists? Just curious. w.

    This morning along with most of the British I have been deprived of my European citizenship, not, I submit in all objectivity purely by democracy but also by minority ideology, conspiracy and manipulation. But I will continue to act like a European as well as a British citizen.
