We should be in EL39 for AO-91 @ 04/1653Z and JO-97 @ 04/1705Z as we head into port. Both are fairly low passes for me and will be somewhat obstructed by the ship's structure, but I'll try anyway. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

We're now supposed to start moving toward port mid evening tonight to put us in port in EM20 tomorrow midday for a few days. I'll be on JO-97 at 04/0345Z but don't know if we'll be EL38 by then or still EL37. If AO-7 is still in Mode B, CW at 03/2258Z. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

Delays at our port in EM20 are continuing, so we're still hanging back in EL37. There's no word yet on when we'll be able to go in; maybe tomorrow, maybe not. Meanwhile, AO-7 appears to still be in Mode B, so I'll try CW on the 03/2259Z pass around 145.955. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

We're on GMT-5 now, so RS-44 and CAS-4B passes don't fit well with my work schedule, and EO-88 seems to be drifting faster. Today, I'll try FO-29 @ 02/2200Z & 02/2347Z, and JO-97 @ 03/0344Z. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

We're still sitting in EL37 and will be likely for another 24 hours or so before turning NNW to head into port in EM20. Once we start moving, we should go into EL38 and probably EL39.

Patrick WD9EWK has his HOF trash can station. This is my home-away-from-home-away-from-home, the back of the ship, where I've been setting up nearly every day for the last four months of /MM operating; this is from this morning's AO-91 pass.

Lots of Qs from EL84 today. But is it me or is EO-88 taking off like a rocket so to speak; its drift seems more like a slingshot lately maxing out the 10 kc RIT, similar to what I see with XW-2A. Peddling onward into EL74, EL75, and EL65 tomorrow., 3/31. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

2) Plan is to drive up from Toronto to Timmins on the 16th, hitting as many grids as I can along the way. Flying out of YTS on the 17th at which point I'll see if I can get John to relay my progress and planned activities.

1) Little bit of heads up...April 16 I will be making quite possibly my last trip into Northern Ontario. Planning to visit ultra rare EO65/66 (Fort Severn), EO82 (Attawapiskat), EO92 (Fort Albany) and EO75 (Peawanuck). Planning to be active on FM birds only...

Planned ops for EL84: RS44 @ 30/2114Z (EL94), JO97 @ 31/0205Z, 31/0340Z, EO88 @ 31/0322Z, FO29 @ 30/2114Z, 30/2259Z, 31/2203Z Possible: FO29 @ 31/2021Z, JO97 @ 31/1527Z Weak possible: CAS4B /1512Z Approx QTH only; maybe too early or too late for EL84. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

We may finally resume our trip westbound and enter EL84 this evening (3/30); it's not locked in but it's likely; GPS rules. QRV on RS-44, FO-29, CAS-4B, & EO-88 late afternoon and evening plus JO-97 midday & evening. After that, "regular" wet grids to EM20. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

No AO-91 around 1530 UTC this morning, but it was on (more or less) around 1700 UTC. KG-UV9D Plus & Elk for this pass, made a few QSOs from the front yard. Had to turn the downlink back on a couple of times during the 1700 UTC pass.

We're still sitting in EL94 waiting for things to clear up further down our wet road; maybe tomorrow (3/29). Too bad we can't move on a few miles and sit there since I'd really be able to knock EL84 off the needed list! #amsat

That was fun... an orderly AO-91 pass around 1645 UTC this morning. Another old-school pass, using my 20-year-old IC-W32A from the front yard. Fun!

Weather ahead of us is forcing us to hang back in EL94. I don't know how long we'll be delayed, so I can't update my prediction on when I'll be QRV from EL84. Should be the next couple days though. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

Looks like there's movement in LOTW log processing... I uploaded logs for this weekend @ 1930 UTC Sunday, and they were processed about 30 minutes ago. Picked up some new grids & DXCC from yesterday's GreenCube pass. :-)

We're outside Miami, so I'm getting my first cell service since December! We'll be in EL84 tomorrow 3/27. I should be QRV on FO-29 @ 2031Z & 2214Z and RS-44 @ 2158Z. (GMT-4 now.) Hopefully all those passes will be from EL84; CAS-4B @ 1618Z weak possible too. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

I will get my QSOs from DM41 today (GreenCube & SO-50) into LOTW tomorrow. Running out of time tonight to get that done...

Yup, that was me on GreenCube around 1900-1930ish UTC today. Using 's station on the hill behind his apartment, I logged 19 QSOs. Sorry I missed a bunch of you; it got busy for me early, then tough once EU was in the footprint. Fun! LOTW tonight, when I get back home...

Our schedule is changing (again!). We should still pass thru EL84, but now I can't be sure when. I'll be QRV there if we go thru outside the work day. Hopefully I'll be able to post an update as we get closer. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

We're continuing westbound toward FL07 where we'll turn south to go around the FL Keys. Later today, I should be QRV on RS-44 and FO-29 from GM20 or GM10, later on possibly from GM00 on JO-97 & EO-88. We' set clocks back to GMT-3 tonight for an extra hour of possible QRV time.

Tmw (3/23), I should be QRV from FM90 on JO-97 abt 1515Z. It'll be a very low pass and mostly blocked by "the house", but it might work OK. After that, FM80, FM70, and FL79 on RS-44 & FO-29 (20Z), maybe FO-29 @ 2230Z, and JO-97 & EO-88 later in the evening. #amsat

Our route should take us through EL84 on the 27th, a less common grid needed for Grid Master. If our timed sked continued as it has, I'll try to be on from there on FO-29 at about 27/1030Z. We'll miss EL58 "by that much, Chief" however (about 15 miles). #amsat #The_Grid_Life

I'll try to be on tmw (19/3) on CAS-4B/1337Z, likely from HM43. The back-to-back FO-29 & RS-44 passes around 1900Z look good, probably from HM33. FO-29 at 1720Z is a weak possibility because of work commitments. JO-97 @ 2250Z from either HM33 or HM23. #amsat @The_Grid_Life

Our ship time is now GMT-1, which has a big effect on which passes I can make. Tmw (17/3), possible passes include CAS-4B/1230Z, FO-29/1725Z, RS-44/1803Z, FO-29/1912Z, JO-97/2106Z & 2239Z, & EO-88/2250. Grids IM35, IM25, IM15 are next. #amsat @The_Grid_Life
