    Another rescue pup living her best life. Firefighter/EMT Teri Munson adopted Halligan,"Halli", a year ago. "A year ago today my little Halligan came home. You take care of me and protect me. You are the kindest, funniest dog I’ve ever known! Happy Gotcha Day!"

    WCAS will be hosting a livestock adoption auction on Saturday, March 27th. The auction will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the shelter located at 365 Triple G Rd, DeFuniak Springs. Shelly, a miniature horse, will be auctioned off at Saturday's event!

    Check out the whiskers on that thing! 😮😍 Emerald is a male tabby who was brought into the shelter as an injured stray. After lots of love and care from our medical staff, he is now happy, healthy, and ready for his FUR-ever home.

    Cuteness. Overload. 🥰 Check it. This little fluff ball was incredibly sick when he was surrendered to the shelter, but thanks to the quick work of Dr. Blackwood and his medical staff, Chance's life was saved. He is now on the road to recovery in his loving foster home.

    He loves walks, couch yoga, doing tricks for treats, and visiting with his best friend neighbor dog. He and my cat did not get along at first, but over time, they’ve become playmates, which makes my heart so happy! Thank you for giving us the gift of this stinky goofy dog!"

    "We knew as soon as he ran into the play yard and he rolled on his back to get belly rubs that he was our dog! Pit Bulls get such a bad rep, but he is the sweetest, silliest dog I have ever met."

    "She is the best dog anyone could have! We renamed her Elle. When I adopted her, I lived in an apartment. Now, we live in a house on 40 acres. She runs all day every day and helps me feed the animals. Here are some pictures of her doing her favorite things." - Frankie
