More than 200,000 Washington healthcare workers have rolled up their sleeves to get the COVID vaccine. If you work in healthcare, don’t miss your chance to get priority access to the vaccine! See where you can get vaccinated now at http://FindYourPhaseWA.org . #IGotTheShotpic.twitter.com/OXm0vzSy9e

Why isn't the vaccine being given IN the hospitals where these people work??? Round the clock access based on their schedule??

According to Washington’s prioritization plan and timeline, Washingtonians between 65 and 69 years of age, who don’t have multiple risk factors for COVID-19, will have to wait for vaccination until May. And if you’re between 65-69 and have “only one” risk factor, you’re screwed.

To be honest, I'd love to be able to get some information more precise than "You are currently not eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine."

Why are Type 1 diabetics not listed on your priority list? Yeh there are more Type 2's (mostly preventable) but Type 1 immune systems are FAR more likely to suffer from even a minor infection of any kind.

Are there any plans to recruit healthcare volunteers to help with vaccination efforts in the state? I think a lot of people including retired clinicians would be interested.

Because we won't even think if going to the next stage until you are all vaccinated. That's why 2/3 of the vaccine is sitting in storage. We really cannot think outside the box or come up with a better plan. We just aren't that bright.
